My Thoughts: Crazy month for Wembanyama and Shohei cards! This sale was right after Wembanyama’s first game of the season when he looked unstoppable. And this card was pushing $500-600 with an immediate bump only a week or two later! It has since sat around the $430-450 range after settling down a bit. Which is still a major increase. Ohtani cards bumping as well, as this video was filmed during the World Series. If I was a traditional dealer, I would have waited a week or two for both these cards to raise, to get premium value. But I’m not a traditional dealer, and make most of my money outside of the booth, so to me they were just seen as inventory for fun videos like this one. Also, I learned a long time ago, that it’s ok to let others win. And if I could take care of a customer or two here, we could all win together. And at least I called the increase on tape 😂 .
