PART 1/2 As a teenage girl in Lima, The Oprah Winfrey Show had a huge influence on me. At 19, a friend and I took a trip to Chicago that changed the trajectory of my life. I stood outside Harpo Studios and saw it with my own eyes — IT WAS REAL! Oprah’s big life wasn’t some distant fantasy. It existed just 4½ hours from where I was born and raised. If Chicago was good enough for @oprah , it was good enough for me. The seed was planted. 🌱 After I graduated college, I moved to the Windy City. Within a year, I was sitting in the audience of The Oprah Winfrey Show. It felt surreal — like stepping inside a dream. ✨ Oprah Winfrey was the original influencer, but what made her powerful was her authenticity and integrity. As an impressionable teen she gave me the courage to take a leap and build a life here. This week is an exciting/surreal week for me- my @whatshernetworth hoodies will be sold at the United Center with the iconic @chicagobulls logo on them.
