In January 1990, Trent Tucker hit a game-winning shot for the New York Knicks with just 0.1 seconds remaining against the Chicago Bulls. The play was so controversial that the NBA reviewed whether it was physically possible to catch and release a basketball in one tenth of a second. After league review, the NBA introduced what became known as the Trent Tucker Rule. With 0.3 seconds or more, players can catch and shoot normally. With 0.1 or 0.2 seconds remaining, players can only score on a tip-in or direct deflection. Trent Tucker later joined the Chicago Bulls and won an NBA Championship in 1993. #nba #basketball #sportscards #nbafinals #tradingcards
